Do Not Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!
by Hudson on June 25th, 2023
If you enjoy having a a cocktail every so often, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Take whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to burn and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not really. Just realistic. You could experience a win following a intoxicated night out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hook a long toss at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply do not mix.
Keeping your money at home is a bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is essential. If you play to profit, then do not drink and play. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the no charge alcohol you can handle, but do not pack credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of following losses after your drunk as a skunk head loses every little thing!
Let me to take this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then head on the net to wager in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condo, but because I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and bet.
Why? Although I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it is absolutely sufficient to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. When mixed, both create an awful, and costly, cocktail.
