Empty your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Take whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to burn and leave the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not really. Just realistic. You could experience a win following a intoxicated night out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hook a long toss at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply do not mix.

Keeping your money at home is a bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is essential. If you play to profit, then do not drink and play.
